Atlanta Greek Festival 2017

My Rhetorical Theory professor gave our class the option of attending the Atlanta Greek Festival in lieu of an in-class writing assignment, and since I had never been to the Greek Festival, I thought it would be something new to try.  Overall, the festival was very organized and easy to navigate. The most surprising part was the kids who danced...I was so impressed at how talented they were!  (video is attached).  I had a great time learning about Greek culture, trying authentic Greek food, and shopping for Greek relics, & I would definitely recommend this festival to everyone I know.  I can't wait to attend again next year.

HWG Photography Summer MERMAID Sessions!

Since there is so much detail, planning, and work that goes into each shoot, these are not minis, but they will be offered at a discount for those who come on July 25th.  They'll be regular sessions, all held on the same day.  If you cannot make it on the designated day, don't worry!  You'll have the option of booking a Mermaid Session at any time for full price! 

Mermaid Sessions will be held on Saturday, July 25, at Nix Bridge Park in Dawsonville, GA
Morning sessions will be from 8am-11am, and evening sessions will be from 5pm-8:30pm. 

Sessions are $95 per family-limited to 2 girls each session since I only have 2 mermaid tails.  There is a $20 non-refundable deposit required to book your session, and this DOES come off the session price.  Multi families can shoot together, but each family still has to pay the $95.  Mermaid tails, hair chalk, and other props will be provided.  All you'll need to bring is a bikini top, and change of clothes! 

After July 25, There is a $50 deposit required to book your Mermaid Session, and $100 due on the day of,  so be sure to secure your July 25th session to take advantage of the discount! 

With each session, you will receive: 

One 8x10 professional print mounted on matte board and ready to frame.

10-15 high resolution digital images with print release. 

10% off any print and canvas purchase!

Spots are first come, first serve, and your appointment is not secured until the $20 deposit has been received.

While setting up for a recent session, I had a cute idea to pose Penelope, my English Bulldog, as I would a newborn, 3 month old, 6 month old, and 9 month old.  These are my 'go to' poses for each milestone and Penelope rocked them all :)

Baby's First Year Has Come & Gone…Now What? {How to get discounted photos after your baby has turned 1~HWG Photography}

I get a lot of questions from parent's who have graduated our Baby Plan {discounted sessions throughout baby's 1st year} who want to know after the 12 month mark…then what?  They don't want to quit capturing their precious infant as they grow and develop into an active toddler, but portraits every 2-3 months isn't an option for them.  So HWG has come with a solution!
If your toddler is between the ages of 1-3 years old, you can now sign up for our "Toddler Years" package.  Very similar to our Baby Plan, you will receive 3 photo sessions throughout each year you choose to sign up for; sessions will be offered at a discounted rate with the sitting fee only being $100! (That's saving you $75 per session!).  After your session,  you'll have the freedom of ordering whichever products/digital files you want via our al la carte menu…photo discs & USB drives are available to purchase & both come with print release.
If you haven't booked with HWG Photography before, when sign up for the Toddler Years package; you will receive a $30 print credit to be applied to your first session!
